Short term rental car

This service provides rental cars to drive within and between CERN sites, and outside CERN with a mission order. 

CERN vehicles are available to CERN members of personnel and contractors’ personnel in the framework of their activities at CERN and for professional use only.

External rental car

In case the regular cern vehicules are not suitable or unavailable, CERN Mobility center (building 6167) provides a leasing service via an external contractor (HERTZ Switzerland) for cars and utilitary vehicules. The rental vehicles are available to members of the CERN personnel and contractors’ personnel, in the framework of their professional activities at CERN only.

Private rental of a vehicle

Special rates are available through HERTZ for renting private vehicles for CERN personnel (MPE, MPA, contractors’ personnel …) with a valid access card.
