Authorised parking areas are clearly marked with a parking sign (“P”). Vehicles must be parked within the lines of the parking bays. Signs indicating that parking spaces are reserved (“tow-away zone”, “disabled”, “official vehicles”, etc.) must be complied with.

In the event of noncompliance with the rules or if necessary for the proper functioning of the Organization, a vehicle may be moved without the prior agreement of the owner at his expense.¹

For persons accessing the site in the framework of official CERN activities, the maximum authorised parking duration is five consecutive working days. In the case of duty travel, a longer period may be agreed with the Registration and Access Control Service in designated long-stay parking areas.

For persons accessing the site outside the framework of official CERN activities, the maximum parking duration is three hours.

If you notice a vehicle parked irregularly, abandoned, or inconvenient to others, contact the Access Control Center (CSA) which will notify the vehicle owner and/or remove the vehicle.
