Parking
Parking areas are clearly marked with “P” signs. Vehicles must be parked only in the spaces provided for this purpose. Specific signs (“marked areas”, “disabled”, “official vehicles”, “CERN vehicles”, etc.) must be respected.
According to the §21 of the Operational Circular No. 02, the Director-General defines the specific conditions governing parking. In the event of noncompliance with the rules or if necessary for the proper functioning of the Organization, a vehicle may be moved without the prior agreement of the owner at his expense.”
Private vehicles can be parked at CERN for no more than 5 consecutive days. You can request the authorisation for long-term parking in designated long-term parking areas.
If you notice a vehicle parked irregularly, abandoned, or inconvenient to others, contact the Access Control Center (CSA) which will notify the vehicle owner and/or remove the vehicle.
